Residential & commercial

Electrical services in Denver

We handle electrical work for homes and businesses across the Denver metro. Panel and service upgrades are our residential specialty, and when an electrical problem is stopping a business, getting there fast is our commercial focus. Everything else in between, we do too.

Our residential specialty

Panel changes & service upgrades

This is the work we're known for. If your panel is overloaded, out of breaker space, outdated, damaged, or showing signs of overheating or corrosion — or you're adding a big new load like an EV charger, hot tub, or addition — we evaluate what your home actually needs and give you a straight recommendation.

That covers panel replacements, 100-to-200-amp service upgrades where appropriate, meter and service equipment, mast work, main disconnects, grounding and bonding, whole-home surge protection, and new or updated residential services. But we don't assume every older panel has to go. If you genuinely need the upgrade, we'll show you why and lay out your options. If you don't, we'll tell you that too.

When something's wrong right now

Emergency electrical & troubleshooting

Finding the actual cause of an electrical problem — not just the symptom — is one of our strengths. A burning smell, sparking, buzzing equipment, part of the house suddenly dark, a breaker that keeps tripping, exposed or damaged wiring, water around electrical equipment: these are the calls we prioritize.

Priority emergency service is $400 for the first two hours during regular hours (Monday through Saturday, through 5:00 PM), or $500 for the first two hours after-hours and Sundays. We come out, find what's going on, make it safe, and tell you the price before we do the work.

Charge at home

EV charger installation

We install Level 2 home chargers — and we check your existing panel and service capacity as part of figuring out what the install needs. We don't automatically sell you a panel upgrade just because you're adding a charger. If your electrical system has the capacity and the install can be done properly, we proceed. If more capacity is genuinely required, we'll explain exactly why.

Older homes

Whole-home rewiring

We do complete residential rewiring — older wiring, aluminum-wired homes, and extensive electrical modernization where a home's wiring has reached the end of its usefulness. Older wiring makes a lot of homeowners nervous, so we start with an honest assessment of what you actually have and what genuinely needs to be addressed, rather than assuming the worst.

Building or renovating

Remodels & additions

We wire remodels and additions from start to finish — kitchen and bathroom remodels, basement finishes, additions, and substantial renovations, including all the new circuits and electrical changes that come with them. We're comfortable wiring the whole project, not just installing a couple of devices at the end.

The everyday work, too

General residential electrical

Panels and emergencies are our specialties, but we handle the everyday electrical work just as happily — one outlet or a whole project.

Lighting & fixtures

Recessed and can lighting, chandeliers, ceiling fans, LED retrofits, under-cabinet and exterior/security lighting.

Outlets & switches

New outlets and switches, dimmers, USB receptacles, GFCI and AFCI protection, and dedicated appliance circuits.

Dedicated & appliance circuits

Range and dryer circuits, hot tub and spa wiring, HVAC circuits, and other dedicated loads.

Safety & protection

Whole-home surge protection, grounding and bonding, smoke/CO electrical work where applicable, and breaker replacement.

Subpanels & circuits

Adding circuit space, subpanels, garage and basement wiring, and new circuits where you need them.

Troubleshooting & repairs

Flickering lights, dead outlets, partial-power problems, code corrections, and service, meter, and mast repairs.

For business owners

Electrical problem stopping your business?

When an electrical problem is disrupting your operation, every hour counts. We prioritize the call, figure out what's affected, diagnose the problem, and work to safely restore operation as quickly as it can practically be done.

Priority emergency dispatch for a business is $400 for the first two hours during regular hours (Monday–Saturday through 5:00 PM), or $500 for the first two hours after-hours and Sundays. If we can diagnose and correct it within that visit, we do. If it needs a larger repair, we explain what we found, what the repair involves, and give you a proposal before we proceed — and when you approve and getting back up matters, we work to move the approved repair into priority same-day service when the repair and available materials make that possible.

Beyond emergencies

General commercial electrical

Downtime work is what we most want to be known for on the commercial side, but we handle general commercial electrical too — troubleshooting and repairs, panels and circuits, lighting and LED retrofits, equipment power, tenant improvements and remodels, and ongoing service and maintenance work. We do residential and commercial; we're not an industrial contractor.

We work with a broad range of businesses: restaurants and bars, retail stores, offices, warehouses, medical and professional spaces, salons and gyms, automotive and service businesses, convenience stores, hotels, churches, schools and daycares, and multifamily and property-managed buildings.

Ongoing relationships

Trade, property & business partners

A lot of our work is repeat business with partners who need an electrician they can count on again and again — HVAC and plumbing companies, builders and general contractors, property managers and maintenance companies, real-estate investors, and fix-and-flippers. We have real experience supporting property, maintenance, and investment customers who need dependable, ongoing electrical support rather than a one-time call. If that's you, let's talk about working together.

How pricing works

Free estimates, honest diagnostics

We keep pricing straightforward and consistent:

Known, predictable work — free estimate

For smaller, predictable jobs, send a couple of photos and a quick description. When we have enough to understand the scope, we can often give you a free rough estimate right over the phone — a starting point that a site visit or discovered scope can adjust.

Larger projects — free in-person estimate

Panel and service upgrades and other work that needs an on-site look get a free in-person estimate.

Unknown problem — $300 diagnostic

If something isn't working and we need to troubleshoot an unknown problem, that's a $300 diagnostic and service call, with a two-hour minimum.

Priority emergency — $400 / $500

A true priority emergency is $400 for the first two hours during regular hours (Mon–Sat through 5 PM), or $500 after-hours and Sundays.

Why Blessed Electric

Down-to-earth electricians who explain things

We give honest opinions and show you what we're seeing. If you genuinely need an upgrade, we'll explain why, what we found, what your options are, and what we recommend. If you don't need it, we'll tell you that — we're not looking to turn every service call into a bigger project.

Communication is one of the biggest things people value about us: you'll understand what was found, why it matters, what needs to be done, what doesn't, and exactly what the proposal covers. We treat your home or business the way we'd want someone to treat ours — and we'd rather build a long-term relationship than run an anonymous transaction. A lot of our customers have become part of the Blessed Electric family, and that's how we like it.

“We treat your home the way we'd want someone to treat ours.”
