Frequently asked questions

The things people ask us most. If yours isn't here, just call — there's no charge to ask a question.

Do you offer same-day or emergency service?

Yes. We answer 24 hours a day and prioritize emergencies — outages, tripping breakers, sparking, and burning smells. Call or text (720) 607-6440.

What areas do you serve?

Denver and all surrounding cities — including Thornton, Brighton, Broomfield, Commerce City, Westminster, Arvada, Lakewood, Littleton, Centennial, Highlands Ranch, Lafayette, Louisville, Erie, Firestone, Fort Lupton, Hudson, Lochbuie and beyond. If you're anywhere in the metro, call and we'll tell you straight.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. Blessed Electric is a licensed Colorado electrical contractor, fully insured, with an A+ rating from the BBB. We've served Denver since 2019.

How much does a panel upgrade cost?

It depends on your current service, where the panel sits, and whether the meter or mast needs work. We give you a firm price before we start, so there's no surprise at the end. The estimate is free.

Do you install EV chargers, and can I get a rebate?

Yes. We install Level 2 home chargers and handle the Xcel rebate paperwork for you. Rebate amounts and eligibility change, so we'll confirm what you qualify for before we start.

My breaker keeps tripping. Is that dangerous?

It can be. A breaker trips to protect you, so repeated tripping means something is wrong — an overloaded circuit, a failing breaker, or a short. Don't keep resetting it. Call and we'll find the actual cause.

Do you replace Federal Pacific or Zinsco panels?

Yes. These older panels are a known fire risk and many insurers won't cover a home that still has one. We'll show you what you have and tell you honestly whether it needs to go.

Do I have to sign up for a plan to get service?

No. We take one-time and emergency calls from anyone. Plans just add priority scheduling and predictable costs for people who want them.

Will you tell me the price before you start?

Always, in writing. And if we find something else along the way, we stop and talk to you before doing anything.

Is any job too small?

No. One outlet, one flickering light, one question — call us.
